MTB Adventures – Discover Shropshire with an Expert Mountain Bike Guide
Founded by Ruth Finney, one of the few female Level 3 MTB leaders in the country, Recce offers unparalleled guided mountain biking adventures in the breathtaking landscapes of Shropshire and the Welsh borders.
Recce is fuelled by Ruth’s deep-rooted passion for the remarkable riding opportunities found in her home county. Ruth loves going on a recce! The thrill of discovering new places to ride and the feel-good vibes she personally gets from these experiences drives her to guide others on similar adventures.
Ruth loves sharing the beauty and excitement of Shropshire’s diverse trails with fellow riders. It’s all about the joy of exploration, the love of nature, and the satisfaction of seeing others enjoy the ride as much as she does.
At Recce, we pride ourselves on uncovering hidden gems in the world of mountain biking, showcasing the lesser-known trails and vistas that make this region a true MTB enthusiast’s paradise. With Ruth at the helm, our team is dedicated to providing unforgettable experiences tailored to riders of all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros.
As your mountain bike guide, Recce take you on incredible rides through the best parts of Shropshire and Wales. We keep you safe, and strive to provide an experience that will leave you eager for more. From carrying essential spare parts to knowing the quickest routes home when the weather turns, at Recce we’re prepared for anything to make sure you have a fantastic time.
