Explore Mynd House B&B
Where you can find us
Originally built in 1902 as a country retreat for a department store owner, Mynd House is constructed in the ‘brick villa’ style. It offers exceptionally spacious and immaculately maintained accommodation. Mynd House has eight well-appointed guest rooms- Five doubles, two twin rooms and a single room- and seven of them offer sought-after hill views (the remaining room overlooks the garden). Each room has a name which celebrates the local area.
All rooms are spacious and include ensuite facilities, along with a full set of towels and complimentary bathroom products, adjustable central heating, and heated towel rails.
Visitors have the added bonus of a secure storage room for boots and bicycles (with hanging space for wet clothes), accessed from the car park.
Here at Mynd House you’ll experience the glorious Shropshire Hills first hand in a unique and atmospheric setting. Our Edwardian villa nestles among the hills, in an area renowned for its natural beauty. The landscape is picturesque and dramatic.
We have a private bar and a double-sized lounge for your comfort, with free on-site parking, and great pubs just a short walk away. Responsible pet owners are welcome to bring their dogs to stay with them in the Minton Room, a large twin or double ground floor room with outstanding views of two peaks, Ragleth Hill and Caer Caradoc.
